The Central Medical Stores Liberia has two main operational components that include warehousing and distribution.
Warehousing
The core function of the CMS is to store the procured medical supplies and other health related commodities under special agreements with developmental partners and the Government of Liberia.
Distribution
The Medical Stores distributes procured medical supplies to approved county depots and health facilities throughout the country.
Department of Operations Units
The Central Medical Stores (CMS), formerly national drug service (NDS) is primarily responsible for the storing and uninterrupted public medical supply chain in Liberia.
